An Alternate Ending Just as the prince of the story and his princess turned to reenter their new world the prince turned back to the knight holding the duck. The duck that had once been Princess Tutu and had selflessly returned all the pieces of his heart back to him. Being the Prince that he was, who cared for all beings, picked up a stone from the floor and held it gingerly to his breast.
