Oh my, It has been forever since I've updated this journal! So very sorry! Cosplay has filled the space of art at the moment, especially sine this year I didn't have an art class so there was less time for me to make room to work on art things...But my mom is making my next cosplay my last for the year so i'll have more time for uploading and drawing and stuff, especially since I have a 4 month summer instead of 2. HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS COMES OUT TOMORROW!!!! [-fangirl squeal-]
Unfortunately I can't go to the midnight showing [malls too far away >.>] But I will be going to the 11:45 showing the next morning. And the best part is, I'll be wearing my Harry Potter Costume xD Can't Wait!

Anyway, on to les-More important news!
So first of all, I did end up splitting to another account. All of my cosplay Photos have been moved to ItsRinko-Chan. This way I'm not Flooding in-boxes with my amateur photos that are overshadowing my actual art work that I originally created this account for. Just for reasons I have linked that account to this one in the descriptions as this account being the creator of the outfit and the other as the model for the outfit but we are the same person. I hope to be uploading more art now. Just to you wont worry[like you will xP] I check both accounts every day, regularly, so I will see all the stuff that the people I watch put up xP
Because of the account change this will be my last cosplay update thingy. So I've got my gumi wig~[a little light in color but it'll work] and the main outfit is done. I just have to do the little details like the headset, the cuffs and neckthing as well as boot covers. Speaking of which, If anyone has any advice for making those or knows a good tutorial please speak up! Also I was thinking of Doing a D Gray Man cosplay but I cant decide between Lavi or Bak xPSo I'll ask you guys, Who do you think I should cosplay from D Gray Man? Lavi or Bak? Other News!
School is coming up soon, like in a week @.@ and I've got a crapload of summer work I should be working on[but I'm a Pro-procrastinator so it'll get done eventually] But this year I won't have an art class [-Gasp!-]. I will however be an officer in the art club so I'm not giving up art just yet! Hopefully with this extra time[not having a final class] I'll have more, better stuff, to show you all! Hopefully! Actually for my Modeling class I have a commission and if it turns out well enough I'll put it up for you all to see, Unfortunately I haven't shaken the pocket watch obsession quite yet! xD Oh! and Tucon is coming up so you'll have to look to for those pictures and updates! I'm working on Saskon59's Glaceon cosplay for that so we'll be jolteon and glaceon there, though only for Saturday >.> school Friday and moms birthday on Sunday xP And For now I am still planning a Saboten trip though it might not happen, will keep you posted on that!

Pre-PCC
After months of persuading my parents they FINALLY let me go with my friends. So, for the first time ever, I will be attending PCC Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I can't wait since this time my friend will be displaying her Gil costume and we'll be Gil and Oz together. That being said neither her outfit nor my newest cosplay are done...I'm actually working on mine right now. Tonights graduation for seniors and tomorrow we will be on our way. There I plan on spending more then I ever have as a little birthday celebration. Speaking of Birthday celebration I got a new camera so I'm hoping for better quality pictures to show you all when we get back!


Post-PCC
As many of you have already know[thanks to the in flood of new pictures and journals], Phoenix Comicon 2011 is over. It was a wonderfully great time. I thank AkumasCrown and her family for their hospitality for putting up with LordGuac and myself for the weekend and towing us back and forth between the con and their house! And I apologize if my drowsiness got in the way of any of your con plans v.v So heres a summery of what happened!

Friday:
Left for Phoenix around 11am and ended up at the con around 1:30. I decided to wear my Yui [Don't say Lazy] outfit for the heck of it and regretted it latter, my shoes[heeled pumps] KILLED my feet because of all the walking. I don't they have ever hurt that much...ever. Not even at Sabo 2010 when I was going up and down 3 flights of stairs constantly. Not too much happened on Friday, I saw JoiFuLStudios right off the bat which was pretty cool since I thought it would be much harder to find people. For most of the day we wen't to panels, doodled in a sketch off ect. Later in the evening we went back home and that was when I realized I had forgotten my red tie for my Oz cosplay. So on our way back to the con for the Anime Rave we stopped at Walmart for a red tie and headed off to the rave. The rave of course was fun. Glow sticks everywhere though there was a person taking pictures near us and every time the flash went off i nearly fell over myself. All in all a good day, not as great as I expected but good.

Saturday:
Saturday morning I got up early against my own will and got to work on fixing up my cosplay and later working on AkumasCrown's Gil cosplay to finish it up [making the frilly thing, cutting the wig ect.] After wards there was some spare time before the first panel we want to attend went on so we headed for a small shoot of Oz and Gil with a magma member xD those pics will be up soon! So after we headed to the con and went to see BanzaiProductions's panel "Tips, Tricks and Etiquette for Cosplayers" which was funny as heck and very informative! I ended up seeing miracle-cliv dressed as Corona there too though stupidly I didn't say hi...so sorry! After Gil and I ran into JoiFuLStudios once more with her Pandora hearts gang and we tagged along for another panel and what turned out to be a photo-shoot. I really didn't want to intrude, just watch but I got dragged in and had a blast anyways. I ended up making new friends [ Mayrune Rush-Of-British and the rest of JoiFuLStudios's Pandora group] Love them all! It was great fun and then we got the best seats at the Mascaraed! 2nd row right in the middle! That was great fun, especially :devbanzaiproduction:'s skit; hilarious! Afterwards we headed upstairs to Anime karaoke which ended up putting me to sleep and had to leave soon after. Great day though!

Sunday:
Probably the best day of them all, though Saturday is a contending rival for sure. That morning I ended up getting up early once again to work on my newest cosplay; Jolteon. All I had done was the yellow part of the dress so that morning i ended up finishing the white under skirt, the white scarf and the ears. I really liked how the outfit came out even though its not done entirely. The ears were a bother because they weren't attatched to anything but the side of my wig and it was windy and blowing them around. But this was probably my most successful cosplay at the con. That day our little group went as a team magma person, Steven Stone and of course, Jolteon[Pokemon day!] As we cross the street someone shouted "Look! Team magma caught a Jolteon!" which made me laugh. Not 5 minutes after entering the building someone comes up and hugs me and I just got a lot of attention. The first Panel we went too was canceled which was sad and so we left with Mayrune who found us there and wandered until someone from Cosplay cards dragged us in because they were playing Pokemon with cards and needed cosplayers. I got a ton of attention in there and during the second round I was called in and played a Groudon that ended the match which was cool and i got a free shirt for it too which was nice. Afterwards Mayrune, her friend and I headed to the vendor hall for some food where Steven and Magma split for some cheap burger king while I stayed for the ice cream~ In the hall I got all sorts of hugs and requests for pics. There were two little boys there who said it was their mission to hug all the Pokemon they could find. Unfortunately they came up to about the hight of the middle of my chest so hugging them was a bit awkward for me but whatever, they were cute and I wished them luck. Later we got our food and we ran, once again, into JoiFuLStudios~! pretty cool though we lost her after I had to run for napkins[I don't usually eat ice cream in waffle cones and I'm slow so it started to drip ^^' and then I was stopped for a few pics along the way as well @.@] after I ended up buying a cute pair of key chains for my car ^^ and getting some pics with these macho army dudes which I thought was cute. Anyways after I just followed Mayrune to her karaoke contest thing and that was my day xP

BTW! If anyone finds or has any pictures of my Jolteon costume please let me know! I was stupid and didn't get any decent ones of myself! ;.;

haha...wonder if anyone actually read this far down >.> oh well. PCC was a blast anyways and now I must prepare for Tucon and then comes Sabo! Love you all and thank you for your constant support!

Im back my wonderfull watchers!

As you have probably noticed already I have flooded your inboxes with cosplay photos. I really need to get back to drawing for you all but lately the only art time ive had has been in the margins of my notes [during sparse occations in but a few classes] and during my art classes, though those drawings are usually for the class and not leasure pictures. *sigh*
The moment i got back to class the flood of homework came all at once and ive hardly had much free time though I did get my liscense recently and I did just have a modeling interview today but that has little to do with art :/ So, all during break i was both looking foreward to, and dreading the end of break. That last weekend meant that Con Nichiwa was here but it also meant my last free days until i was back again, subjected to the intense load forced by my teachers.

Anyway, enough ranting. I just wanted to appologize for the flood of [hardly decent] cosplay pictures and the lack of actual art. That and to tell you all I am no a legal driver so you should all look out when driving in Arizona!

Con Nichiwa 2011 <3

Saturday:
Ah, the second annaversery of my first Con. Brings back memories. This year I went on two different days, Saturday and Sunday. On saturday my brother and I arived early to the con and once the video games opened up he left me by myself. So to pass the time by myself I sat in on a few small panals and collected their candies. It was my first time debuting my Oz cosplay and in the beginning i had to explain myself a few times but most people knew who i was supposed to be and I got a glomp and two hugs from since she had to dress up as the undertaker and couldn't go around in her Oz cosplay. That day I was the only Oz. After roaming and having my picture snapped a few times my brother and I got food from the circle k down the way. after i went to eat in the back where a group of three girls joined me for a bit until a Xerxes Break approached me with her friend Skull Kid from zelda. Turns out it was and i was glad i asked because we nearly brushed past each other! from there I followed her around since i didnt want another Sabo event occuring @.@ and i was glad i did. We meet up with a jack and then i ran into :iconakumas crown:. At that point JoiFuLStudios had to run off to the Kuroshitsuji cafe and AkumasCrown and i walked around until joi was done and found us once more. During her absence Akumas crown and I took a few pictures and sat in on some panels until we were rejoined by Break with whom we took a ton of pictures with as you have probably seen until my mom came to pic us up. It was the best day of the two and probably the most fun ive had at any con.

Sunday:
This time and I had out first con wearing out K-On outfits one together. Not as many people wanted our picture but oh well. For the first half we went outside because there werent any panels we wanted to participate in and so we took some pictures outside as you have probably seen. once we were bored there the two of us had lunch that was graciously prepared by my mio [Saskon59] and after we went inside for a wig panel which was quite interesting. at that point joined us dressed as Steven Stone from pokemon. From there we went down to Circle K to refil my hungry little mio. on the way back we got some funny videos that i might be adding to youtube eventually and some great pictures of Steven with his stones and even one with in it as you have probably already seen~ It was a great day though not as fun as saturday but better than Sabo for sure!

During those two days we also wandered the vendors hall a bajillion times and I bought my first art!!
